The Western States Case Conference is a regularly scheduled series (RSS) presented by the University of Arizona Pediatric Pulmonary Center on the third Wednesday of each month for pediatric pulmonary fellows and professionals.
This workshop is designed to train a diverse range of healthcare professionals in the safe and effective prescribing of opioid medications for the treatment of pain, as well as the treatment of substance use disorders, particularly opioid use disorders, with medication-opioid use disorder treatments. This training fulfills the DEA requirement for 8 hours of opioid addiction treatment training.
