Medications for Opioid Use Disorder

This workshop is designed to train a diverse range of healthcare professionals in the safe and effective prescribing of opioid medications for the treatment of pain, as well as the treatment of substance use disorders, particularly opioid use disorders, with medication-opioid use disorder treatments. This training fulfills the DEA requirement for 8 hours of opioid addiction treatment training. Registrants must also enroll for the course on the PCSS platform. Instructions to do so are included in the confirmation email you will receive once you complete the RSVP form.

Who should attend? Physicians, APRNs, and residents.

ACCREDITATION: 
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Arizona Medical Association (ArMA). The Southern Arizona AHEC (SAAHEC) is accredited to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
